    Hello guys,

So mostly of you guys are happy and I wish that to everyone and the rest is feeling disappointment today.

My story begin in AUD exam with 16 point in the first try and 31 in second try.!

I told my self that AUD is not to me, so I changed to BEC and today I saw the score and it was 36.!

I am not sure If I am studying too much or not at all.!! I feel like I have to start with final review rather then the hole book.!! my material was Becker and Wiley CPA Test Bank. when I took the BEC exam, there are a lot a lot of things in the material that important dose not include in the exam.!! should I take it easy and just study the final reviews,!! I will take both AUD and BEC exams in October.

FYI: I did the hole homework in the BEC Becker and a half in Wiley test bank

    Hi Emma!

I will not tell you how to study, but here is what I did.

I did every Becker lecture and then the MCQ-Homework, then the next one, and so on. After I have done part 1 I went over the study material (book) again, and did all MCQ for this topic another time and marked the ones I thought I should see another time (better to mark to more than less). Then went on to the next part. After doing 2-3 chapters I repeated the first again (reading the part in the book and doing the marked questions) and so on. After this 3rd round I really left only the ones that seemed very important or which I got wrong again as “marked”. I did all the Sims about 4 times.

If you look at my scores you see that my strategy was not 100% right for all my exams, so you need to have a little bit of luck as well! Don't give up!!

Hi, I went back to read the other post so I know English is not your first language. I have no experience with this, but I have experience with Audit exam and its a tough one. I purchased Yaeger for my last attempt. It uses the Wiley Book. I thought it was very thorough. I don't think you are studying too much. Studying too much would get you close to 75, but not over possibly because of overconfidence(just my opinion). I'm really sorry you have felt the sting of very low scores, but yes I think you need to change something. Good luck!

CA CPA - All because of the journey listed below

    FAR - 53('10), 8/25/12 79 PASSED!
    REG - 66('11), 69('12), 12/06/12 77 PASSED!!
    BEC - 58('10), 74('12), 01/05/13 77 PASSED!!!
    AUD - 43('11), 66('12), 69('13), 74('13) 7/29/13 85 PASSED!!!!!

Given that English is not your first language, BEC will probably be harder because they have the written portion and unfortunately don't give much grace for English as a second language. 😐 For AUD, if you think that you've had difficulty understanding the questions due to language barriers, then FAR might be a better one since there's more questions that are computational on it, and I assume (though I haven't taken it yet) that AUD is more wordy.

But all that being said… These exams suck. 😐 Realize that a lot of native English speakers fail their first several, too, so don't let these scores make you think it's impossible!

From looking at your past threads, it looks like you have tried to take 2 tests in a month, or at least 2 in a window. You know what is best for you, but I might suggest taking these a bit slower. Perhaps try to take one test in October and another in November, instead of both in October. There's a ridiculous amount of information to remember for these exams, and I'm pretty sure if I tried to do 2 in a month, I'd fail them! I'm still waiting on my score to see if my longer study time was sufficient…
