Became aware of this website a few months ago, although I started going after my CPA a little over 3 years ago. Wished I found it earlier as it offers such great moral support-could have used it all along the way. Long story short, passed final section (Audit) in August. Had to retake that and BEC after pulling a 74 in FIN last Nov in what would have been my final section at that time.

Stay with it -I could have thrown in the towel last November as I’m 58 years old, missing by 1 is not a defeat, it’s only a little bad luck and shows how very close you are.

I used Becker, alternating between classroom and self study and strongly recommend it.

    Good luck

Congrats to you!!! Yahooooooooo–no more studying, goal attained. Thanks for your inspiring story. I started this journey in August of 2010. It has been a long journey so far for me. I just turned 48 and definitely felt like throwing in the towel this past window. I have BEC and FAR under my belt, but failed at my attempt to pass REG and AUD this past window. The task of passing these exams is difficult, but when you add the demands of life and family, well, that thickens the pot! I am hoping (and praying) that I can finish it up in Q4.

Thanks for the pick me up 🙂
