    Hi everyone!

So I just found out that I will be going on a long (20 hours total) road trip with my family next weekend because of some unexpected circumstances. I’ll be in a car (not driving) with no internet/extended cellular access, so no lectures, NINJA flashcards or MCQs…

Does anybody have any good tips for things I might could do? I’d hate to have all of this time to study and not make the best of it.

    Thanks for your help!

@halfhoot – Once you're done with a quiz you can go through the questions you got wrong and get an explanation.

Reading books while traveling by land? Oh, I would be sick and feel really dizzy doing that. Is anyone here like that too? My husband says, only US foreigners would feel that way. He said local Americans can travel while reading the entire time without feeling any dizziness or headache.

I traveled 8 hours back and forth with my NINJA audio during our visit to my in-laws one Christmas. Works really great!

Thanks everyone! I probably should have mentioned that I have NINJA audio (and notes), too. I've been listening to it for two hours a day for about a month now, but I'm sure another twenty wouldn't hurt. 🙂 I'll look into the app suggestions, too.

@Amor – I don't think I've ever gotten carsick before – but usually I just sleep! My only hesitance re: the audio is that I am really awful about zoning out while it's playing.

The only thing about the road trips is the time to study. There will be something or someone that will distract you. You will have to forget sleep and study. I have been on the road several times, had to reschedule far, start studying again and another road trip. several funerals and college orientation for my fourth child going to college. So I agree with everyone, write as much as you can, do audio….Even though I was scraping to get in something ( reading writing, or audio) , I still feel like I didn't study at all. So good luck. The main thing…do something.

Amor: I also get horribly nauseous if I try to read in the car. I just assumed that if reading flashcards or a tablet didn't cause sickness, then books were fair game. Personally, I can't even send more than one single text message without quickly regretting it. BTW, I am a local American. We get sick too. 🙂
