I thought FAR was pretty terrible due to the amount of information, but at some point, a lot of topics just click and going through multiple choice really helped. Additionally, there were accounting principles you could apply to the questions to somewhat make an educated guess.
REG just seems like a bunch of arbitrary numbers and rules thrown together. Doing tons questions doesn’t really seem to help, except for just learning the format and what to look for. The questions aren’t really “tricky” like FAR can be. It’s just knowing what can be deducted, at what percentage, etc. I feel like I need to just continuously read the textbook and notes (or repetitively write stuff, which has never really worked for me).
Does anybody have any study tips for REG? Ways to better memorize some of the concepts? I’m guessing it’s just going to come down to spending a ton of time just reading notes and flash cards, but any tips will help. Thanks.
