    Hi classmates

I write to ask for advice on how to keep studying for my CPA exams while I have an ill family member that needs my help.

I have been studying on and off for my CPA exams and after high 50s and 60s I finally made it to the 70s a little while back. I have always remained motivated, especially since my grades have gotten better. My family and I recently received the news that a close family member has cancer. I have decided to put my studies on hold to give everything I have to help cure them. I was wondering what are some ways I can casually study as I help them. I don’t want to stop studying all at once and forget my studying habits. I have a full time job and other responsibilities.

I have some ideas, like listen to my recorded notes, record and listen to small pieces of my textbook, listened to lecture, casually read CPA questions on blogs and forum, etc. I can do this while I commute from and to work. As I travel to see my family, while I keep my family company during treatment, etc.

    Would appreciate any ideas.

I need to pass before busy season.

study while on the can, listen to recordings in the car, wake up early and/or stay up late to study, study on lunch break, go into work early and hit the books, stay at work late and hit the books. there are lots of options and all involve some type of sacrifice. that sacrifice could be sleep, social events, family time, time off from work, hobbies, ect. generally something has to be given up to make up for the time needed to study. its also not about the quantity of study time, its the quality, are you obtaining what you are learning?
