I have all day to study — how many weeks should it take me per section? - Page 2

I graduate at the end of this semester (December) and I plan to start studying for the CPA starting January 1st in the FAR-AUD-REG-BEC order. I have an offer pending from B4 so I will be using Becker and likely nothing else.

If you were in my shoes and had no obligations (no school and no work until September) and could theoretically study all day for your respective sections, how many actual hours per day would you dedicate to studying and how many weeks would you allocate per section?

It will depend on your background, work ethic, endurance and overall intelligence. I studied full-time for two before I started my MST. I spent at least 600 hours during the whole process for 4 parts. If I was able to consistently study 40 hour weeks it could of took me 15 weeks, but I took weeks off here and there and burned out midway multiple times. It ended up being a 9 month process, but I started my MST midway. It will take time for you to learn the most productive way to study for these exams as well. It is good to have ambitious goals but many people will fall short due to personal limitations.

Passed all 4 exams in 2014!
