Hi,

I am a student from Saudi Arabia. I came to the US to get a Masters Degree in Accounting. I am still doing the GMAT preparation, and I plan to do the CPA examinations. I hope so and I think I can.

So, I searched online and found a lot of posts and info.. I was overwhelmed..

I don’t know where to begin!

Here is some info about me:

I have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting (112 hours).

I have NO work experience in accounting whatsoever.

I am in the US with an F1 visa

Haven't done anything yet.

I can't really help you in that area, it might be a better idea to check out the actual university, ask recent graduates, or look into any ranking system to see if it's good or not. GMAT by itself is a completely useless exam but the only advantage is that it can be used as some kind of filtering tool (in a way just like the CPA exam!). Again I can't judge on the quality of a university based on the GMAT requirement and at the end of the day it's a choice that you have to make.

I'm planning to enroll and I'm an international applicant. Few days ago I appeared for GMAT and managed a score of 590. What I want to know is, should I retake the test or this is good for my application? The requirement listed on the university website is only 450 though.

(Other info :: TOEFL 98; GPA 3.0/4)
