First and foremost – i wanted to say thank you to Jeff and the A71 fam here for always always supporting me throughout this difficult process. You have served as a sounding board and support system as I have struggled through this exam for several years now.

For those of you who did notice, I have been MIA for almost 2 months now. After my very confusing failure on Audit, I went on vacation and took some time away from the exam. Although part of me did not want to do this, I needed to recharge and reflect. I am back, recharged and refocused to pass this exam once and for all.

My plan:

1. Go back at BEC. I got a 70 on this earlier this year and I know I can pass it. Scheduled for 8/24 and I will pass. I made a promise to myself that I will and I will get those 75 points.

2. Put AUDIT away for a while and take a look at either FAR/REG after BEC.

3. Be 1/2 done by 2014 and completely done by Summer of 2014.

Back to the books. I just finished B1 and am feeling good. It is time to start getting some 75+.

Welcome back….we're all pulling for you however long it might take. I think we put so much pressure on ourselves that we have to get it done by a certain date or time or we are inadequate for some reason or it won't be any CPA jobs left by the time we pass. Take the pressure off….I know we all want this over with so bad. Either pass or go bankrupt trying to continue to fund this test, that's how I feel anyway. But you can do it……go at it….no regrets.

don't sweat the 50 in AUD, there's only 2 scores in the cpa game…1) pass and 2) did not pass yet!

scores are just mind games the aicpa plays with you, tricking you into thinking you only have to study for 5 more points when we all know you have to study for 75 points

like you, the lowest score I ever received was in AUD and I went on to pass it…twice!

Keep your head up! According to the stats from the most recent passing rates, AUD is the lowest. So take heart in knowing that AUD is a butt kicker, not just for you, but for many others…..

I appreciate everyone support. I am halfway through B-5 and feeling strong. I am trying to stay focused and just keep moving forward.

I hope everyone understands my absence from the forum. I needed a break from the test and everything. I'm feeling rejuvenated and going strong towards my first pass.

thank you dmrullio! it's nonstop MCs for me now as well as rewriting ninja notes. i know I can pass this test and i think the break i took was what I needed to refocus and pass this thing…as always appreciate all the support I have gotten and get from this forum….:-)
