I just purchased Yaeger CPA Review FAR Homestudy. I have previously used only Becker (scored 73, 73, 69 FAR, AUD, BEC). I decided to give Yaeger a try. I’ve read on this forum that Yaeger can get me over the hump. Anyways, could someone explain to me how to study Yaeger? I’ve never purchased from Yaeger before, but I do know a little bit about it. I know that there are Modules— Videos, Suggested MCQ, and a handout. I work full-time in manufacturing accounting. How did you study with Yaeger. For example, 2 modules per day including all MCQ, Videos, Reading, and Sims for those 2 modules? Do you utilize the MCQ/Sim Question Bank? Thank you very much.

I'd say I studied for FAR for a solid month and a half or 2 months. Basically, look at the time frame you have to study for it and then figure out how many modules a day/week you need to do in order to stay on track to take the exam on whatever date you scheduled it. I think I averaged about 3 modules a week. I did all the Yaeger assigned MCQ and then if I was having trouble with a particular module, I'd do all the MCQs. In my final review of MCQs (week before exam), I tried to go through all MCQs and not just the assigned ones. Just watch the lecture videos and Cindy will tell you which MCQs are more likely to be on the exam so you know which ones to focus on. Good luck!

40 days by Yaeger program. Passed.

First Review: 15-20 days to finish watching all lectures and make notes. Do all required MCs and make analysis why some problems you did wrong.

Second Review: 6-8 days to review all notes one by one and do the MCs in the second time.

Third Review: 10-15 days-At least finish 10++ sets of simulation from Wiley testbank. Honestly speaking, simulation from that software over simple. Better understand the samples showed by Cindy in the class. Make notes for all wrong problems and identify why you selected the wrong option not the right option.

Last Review: 1-2 days before test. Review all notes to refresh your memory.
