Hi ok my Audit exam is tomorrow, and I am reviewing my flash cards. I realize that I am not remembering stuff from lecture 1-3, when I just finished my flash cards for lecture 4-6 a couple days ago. Do I need to use them daily, or is there a better way to study?

BEC: 75 lost credit, could not pass far 🙁
AUD: 76 lost credit could not pass far 🙁
FAR: 74, FML. Next exam 06/14/23

The best use of your time is to practice more and more and more MCQ's.

Use the flash cards either as a crutch while you're answering the MCQ's or reference the cards after you answer each question just to make sure you have good understanding of the rules in your head.

One question – Are these pre-printed cards, or did you write them yourself?

Writing them yourself is VERY helpful. Your brain processes the information very differently than just reading it.

So, whether they are pre-printed or you already wrote them – pick out a few with the most commonly tested topics and HAND WRITE those rules over and over again on a page of paper (just like we did in 1st grade when we had to write 100 times “I will not talk in class”)

I promise – rewriting the rules on the topics that you keep forgetting gets it to finally stick in your brain.

Write the same rule 10 times.

Do that with a few rules, then go back to the first one and do it again.

It WILL stick!

This won't help you for AUD obviously, but it might for FAR: Find a good friend/family member/coworker/anyone who's a sucker enough to spend a few hours on something I'm sure he/she doesn't care about one bit, buy said person a beverage of his/her choice, and start quizzing. Got me through FAR! Helped with the MCQ drills as well. 🙂
