How to study two subjects at one time?

It seems like I have to study two courses (REG & AUD) at the same time because I currently live in Korea and will have to go back to States for only the tests. Plane tickets are expensive so I can’t afford to buy two tickets. I have two months to study full time. Should I try to finish studying one course in the first month and then study next one on the following month? If I do so, I am afraid I’ll forget the first subject that I studied. Any tips on how to study two courses at the same time?

My suggestion would be to watch the lectures for one, then the lectures of the other, the read the book for the first one, then read the book for the second one, then alternate between the two for rewriting your notes and studying MCQs/SIMS in the review weeks. One night for REG, the next night for AUD. That way you are going back and forth and not leaving yourself time to forget the material. I studied for two at one time, but concentrated on the first test solely in the weeks leading up to that test and didn't leave enough review time for the second test. I think if I had approached them more simultaneously when quizzing I would have passed both of them instead of just passing one. Good luck! I

@RedBounce I'm in the same boat like you, the only thing is I live closer to the States, so I can go there once per exam, eventhough, I struggle as well with timelines. What I would do if I were you is to prepare well for two sections for one trip, but not to study “same time” both sections.

Buy a good CPA review and base your study there. I would start with the hardest one for me (FAR) and one not so difficult. Probably you will study let's say 3 or 4 months fully committed to this and give yourself one month of just review: two weeks per section.

You definitely can do it, just plan well your timelines and I don't think you will fail.

    Good luck!
