My BEC test is scheduled in July, and I’m using Yaeger to study. I am on track with my studying as to what Yaeger recommended, but with the study plan they laid out for me, I only get one week to cram before my test. I have changed up my studying techniques quite a bit, but can’t get anything to stick! I have only been through each chapter I have covered once, and still have a few more. I am not doing TOO well on the MCQ’s, but would like to go over them a few more times. I’m just not sure if it is too late to change my studying tactic….Any tips on what has helped y’all get through?? I’ve been out of school for a few years, so I’ve completely forgotten how to study 🙁

Really common question here and Im gonna give a common answer, everyone's different and you need to figure out what study plan works for you. Most people say to not waste time on the video lectures and I agree. I read the chapter and do MC for that section. After I look over all the chapters its nothing but MC leading up to the exam. I didn't have a great average score on the progress tests either, think it was around 65-70 but still managed to pass.

For BEC I think I did 12-15 hrs/week for 3 weeks then like 20 hrs/wk for 2 weeks for cramming. Just hammer out the MC and do a quick review of the writing part just to get the format down. (intro, body, body, closing)

    AUD - 75 ☺
    FAR - 65, 71, 70, 77 ☺
    BEC - 80 ☺
    REG - 73, 66, 79 ☺ 2/28/15

    Done!
