I use to work out for an 1 hour a day and now I substituted studying for that hour. Only so many hours in the day.

None; haven't been to the gym since the summer. I've lost a few inches due to stress, but I've acquired a few grey/silver strands instead 🙁

Glad it isn't just me…I've already gained a few pounds and have only been studying for a few months. All the snacking or eating late due to studying doesn't help. I'm trying to make more of an effort and make healthier choices when snacking.

55 pounds here, I'm going to get a membership in the gym soon!

@tonybrunoar – I agree- well done. Ha. “Taking FAR on Thursday, crying and drinking on Thursday night. Eating all weekend. Starting back up Monday. Balls… “

I agree with many others. Studying shouldn't get in the way of one's health. It's not hard to do 20 pushups or squats between testlets or even take an hour out of the day to relieve some stress. If anything, eating health and exercising regularly will only support one's study habits!

I'm going back to the gym today after 2 weeks off due to studying. My review course started last Monday and I haven't found the time to go. After having lost 100+ lbs the past few years, now is NOT the time to slip off the path…

But if I ever needed a valid excuse to gain weight, this is it. What a freaking time-consuming exhaustive experience. Just gotta stick with it and make it happen!

I'm a former college athlete so I attribute most of this to just a general disdain for all forms of exercise. Since starting my CPA journey about a year ago I've gained about 15 lbs, but unfortunately I've lost all and any of the muscle tone I once had. I better at least have that piece of paper to show for it at the end of this thing. Lately I've been easing myself back into “light” exercise, but it makes me extremely tired and then I use that as an excuse not to study. So I'm thinkin that I may have to cut back on that some so I can finish this thing.

I gained 25 pounds! 2 5! YUCK! I'm down 5 already. I've been eating healthy and walking. I got a fitbit for X-mas. I must get this CPA baby weight off… I think a lot of people thought I was/am pregnant. You need to learn how to ask that in a way that doesn't give away that you think the person is preggers. A bunch of mom friends have been discussing with me if we plan to have anymore kids. Then one day a mom at my son's preschool asked “how are you feeling?” Awkward! I replied, “oh I'm good and you?” Lol… Then I put it all together, everyone thinks I'm pregnant. I can't blame them.

I've gained about 25 in the last 2 years due to both studying and my current job in which I work from home. Too easy to go snacking! Since October, I've been getting up at 4am to hit the gym so that I can get some exercise in. I don't like being in the gym with a ton of people and at 4am there's maybe 1 or 2 people. Lately with how cold it's been, I've been going maybe 2-3 times a week instead of the 5-6 I would love to do. Doing it in the morning also gets it out the way and helps to give me that initial morning burst of energy. It's hard to stay fit in South Louisiana with all the good food. Especially now since festival season starts in a couple weeks. King cake….*mouth waters* ahem…now back to BEC

I haven't weighed myself, but I don't think I put on too much weight.

I still find at least 1 day a week to hit the skatepark and I try to work out 2-3 times during the weekday.

But I also have the benefit of living 5 minutes away from a 24 hour fitness and 10 minutes away from the Skatepark..

I use to be 15lbs heavier but that was due to “relationship gut” aka eating out too much in the city with the GF (now fiancee) I've since lost the weight, mostly due to jump roping/skateboarding. If there's 1 activity I recommend for strengthening your core and losing weight, it's jump roping! You can do it virtually anywhere.. garage, sidewalk, backyard etc.

    10lbs!!

Hard to study 30hrs a week standing up. You gotta do most of it sitting in a Library or coffee house somewhere. If that coffee house happens to be a starbucks, factor in the lattes etc, you can see how easy it is to get heavier.

So I decided to take FAR in January. This means that the perfect storm of stress eating through dilutive earnings per share, pensions, and treasury stock transactions was met with a never ending supply of Holiday sweets. Now, only my loose fitting work clothes still fit. I'm planning on biking to work during the next busy season to get back in to shape. Thank God I passed FAR this time.
