How much time should I allow to study for Audit?

I’m starting to study for Audit and trying to figure out when i might be able to schedule the exam. I’m typically able to study about 2 hours/day on average. Hopefully I can schedule for the end of July – would/should that be enough time?

I’m using Yaeger and do not work in the audit field. I also tend to require (I think) more time than “average” recommended study time (I say this based on my FAR prep – I probably ended up around 250-275 hours total…though think I have a much more efficient study method now)

    FAR - 87 (5/15)
    AUD - 93 (8/15)
    REG - 86 (2/16)
    BEC - 87 (5/16)

Since you sound like me requiring a little more time to study, I would aim for something in early to mid-August. I have an 8 week plan which allows for 2-3hrs weekdays and 4-5 hours for weekends. FAR was 12 weeks, 3hrs a day and I got an 86.

    Journey Started - January 2015
    FAR - 4/2015 - Passed
    AUD - 7/2015 - Passed
    BEC - 8/2015 - Passed
    REG - 11/12/2015 - Passed

can't do early to mid-August unfortunately with my job and then big family vacation. May have to push it back to late August as much as i hate to do it but don't want to take the exam if not ready/prepared enough.

honestly (hindsight being 20/20) i wish i had jumped right into it after taking FAR but didn't want to start studying and then have to turn around a jump back into FAR if I didn't pass. I don't mind pushing Audit back for the sake of the Audit exam, but was hoping to give myself about 4 months to study for REG (assuming I pass Audit – a big assumption)

    it'll work itself out I guess…

    FAR - 87 (5/15)
    AUD - 93 (8/15)
    REG - 86 (2/16)
    BEC - 87 (5/16)

End of July sounds perfect for your situation. It's ~50 days away and 2 hours a day = ~100 hours of studying which is pretty ideal for AUD.

    AUD: Passed
    BEC: Passed
    REG: Studying

I went about 6 weeks give or take using Yaeger – I took one auditing class to qualify to sit for the exam, but that was it. I was pretty diligent about studying for that one though – every lecture, entire book and entire test bank, along with any other questions I could find. Also had a full time job and other activities. Pulled an 80.
