Regardless of the different papers, how many times have you guys sat for the exam so far?

Definitely need some moral support here!!

I have taken it for 6 times, passed ONE only!

In the order I took the exams, passed FAR on 1st try, AUD on 2nd try, REG on 3rd try… notice a pattern here? I really hope it's not in the cards that it takes 4 tries for BEC, already failed it once. These exams are hard, the retakes don't get easier (at least not for me) but if you study for every exam like you're taking it for the first time, it can be done!

Don't feel bad. The journey is different for everyone. If it helps, it seems like after I really figured out how to study and I passed one, then the others came easier.

Mostly the battle is in your head, this stuff is not hard but requires dedication like nothing I've ever done before. Be honest with yourself, are you really learning the material with the methods you are using? If not, change something! It won't get better if you don't make changes. I found out I was using the wrong review course for MY learning style so I changed midstream. I found that flash cards were tedious and an annoying waste of time while others swear by them. Understand how YOU learn and it will help you find a way to pass.

We have plenty of permanent positions available .. complete with a great relocation package and incredible benefits … and an on site gym … and on site cafeteria … and … well, you'll be working in Florida, 30 minutes from the beach … and 30 minutes from Disney!! To everyone!

Failing and getting back up is what makes us a CPA… if it was easy then anyone could do this! not the case, it takes perseverance to be who we are, to put ourselves “voluntarily” through this!

Let's feel proud of each time we sit for an exam, regardless of outcome score…. I know by experience as I've also experienced a couple fails……
