i've taken 6 and passed 3 (see scores below)…it's a hard pill to swallow but probably 75% of the time you can tell you needed to put in some more hours. I would avoid my problem areas since it would eat up time but they would be the ones on the exam. i say 75% of the time because that 74 i got on AUD…i know i was equally prepared and it was an out of field exam that really crushed my spirits… same with my first REG exam. unfortunately i do think that there is a bit of luck in these exams.

I have taken the exam twice so far and failed FAR with a 70 and 74. This exam is beyond exam day it really comes down to the preperation and the preparing process leading up to it. So if your taking a part what is your gameplay to study all chapters? Are you doing an adequate amount of multiple choice questions and simulations to give yourself a chance to be successful on exam day? If you plan the exam right and give yourself the best opportunity to be ready for the exam the exam in itself should be enough to pass successfully.

As for me, I have learned more than anything it comes to the behind the scenes work if you will, that preperation before exam day that really makes you or breaks you. I learned to create a study plan and have done a decent job so far following that plan and increasing my knowledge in FAR. As time goes I feel I am better preparing myself for the CPA exam.
