How many MCQs do you do?

So far I have done FAR and AUD. For FAR my studying consisted of MCQ plus a couple MBA Accounting classes that I had recently taken. I just did Multiple choice questions for my studying and was able to pass barely. I am wondering what amount of multiple choice questions that one should do to be able to pass.

How much did you guys do, what additional studying did you do? Amount of MCQs I did was:

    FAR: 76

    MCQ: 2,500 Wiley Test Bank

Additional Studying: Recent MBA accounting classes, no task based simulations review

    AUD: 77

    MCQ: 3,500 Wiley Test Bank

    Additional Studying: None

I tried to get through the Wiley Test Bank questions at least once – I usually didn't get there, but that was my goal. So, it varied between exams based on the amount that WTB had. For me, if I had gone through them all an additional time, it would've been fruitless since I would be recognizing the question rather than thinking through the concept.

However, I also read through the Wiley book. I would suspect that FAR and AUD would be the most similar to Master's-level accounting classes; if you're doing an MBA, then BEC probably has a fair amount of material that you've covered elsewhere, so you can probably use your same method (MCQs primarily) if you supplement some with Internet searches for topics that you're not familiar with. I would suggest getting something like the Wiley book for REG, though, unless your MBA included tax and Business Law classes.

For people who did 2000q+, are they individual different questions? Not reapeated? If so, u do ever repeat them? I wanna know how many individual mcq u do and how many mcq in aggregate(including all the redo mcq).

For far i'm doing 1400 and redo 1400 then redo 700 for the third time.

For me, the number of MCQs includes repeats.

For people who did less than 2000 Multiple choice questions, did you do any other sort of review in addition to the multiple choice questions?

@InsiWinsi, I got my MCQ #s from looking at WTB's cumulative report. My FAR number looks way too low. I must've deleted some practice sessions. I'm sure the actual figure was more on par with the other 3.

    REG - 89
    FAR - 84
    AUD - 73, 86
    BEC - 89
