I hammered out 200 FAR questions last saturday, which was almost a record. I believe I did 250 while studying for AUD on thanksgiving last year 🙁

Having a hard time getting my trending score up on ninja.

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

For FAR, I'm averaging around 90 MCQs per day. By the time I'm done taking notes from portions of the questions I want to make sure to read up on later, 3 hours have passed and nothing else can be crammed into my brain.

My goal for all the other sections was around 200 questions a day, but with FAR no matter how hard I tried I could only do around 100 before having brain farts haha

    BEC - PASSED
    AUD - PASSED
    REG - PASSED
    FAR - PASSED

210 gov't questions today for FAR (whole section in becker). scoring about 70-80% on topics.

got an 89% on the 55 optional questions.

sucked on proprietary funds–which i killed a month and a half ago on my first round through..so frustrating.

    hope it stuck

I do the equivlent of 3-4 testlets per night normally – I did just shy of 100 for BEC regually except during the last 2 weeks leading up to the exam. Then I did about 40 questions on ninja at luch and then did my 3-4 testlets when I got home. I don't do a huge selection of MCQ at a time (except during HW sometimes). I always do either 24 or 30 depending on the exam. Otherwise mental fatigue sets in.

    BEC 8.14.14 - 87!
    FAR 1.8.15 - 89!
    REG 4.15.15 - 86!
    AUD 7.2.15 - 90!

    Application submitted 8.6.15
    Licensed CPA 8.19.15

I am using the CPA EXCEL MCQ's. Just not sure if I should do them in order or break them up

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

For the Wiley TB I would take one section, do 20 ‘never-before-seen' mcqs at a time until I got a 70% and then move to the next topic. When I was done with that I alternated between sets of 20 on the weaker topics that took me more than a few tries to get a 70% and doing sets of 30 random ‘never-before-seen' mcqs covering all topics. and I made a spreadsheet.. haha https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v301/Vixia/spreadsheet_zps5f871507.png

FAR - 89 (8/19/14) Wiley TB, Wiley Book, Books from School, Ninja Audio/Notes
AUD - 92 (10/14/14) Wiley TB, Wiley Book, Ninja Audio
BEC - 82 (5/8/15) Mostly Ninja MCQ, sprinkles of Becker lectures and Ninja Audio
    REG - (8/14/15)

In cpa excel I just power through the lessons and hit the questions, with no intention of getting them all right, and move on.

After finishing the lectures I spend the rest of my time trying to finish all questions. Obviously it hasn't given me 90s, but I think I have better excuses than that.

    REG- (1) 76
    FAR- (2) 64, (5)74, (7)83 (Over achiever!)
    AUD- (3) 70, (4) 75
    BEC- (6) 75

How can I tell how many I did in a day?

Did over 400 Blaw Q's for REG yesterday…. That's definitely not the norm, but it's what running out of time toward the end does to you. =/

I've seen a lot of people suggest doing 3,000 total MCQ on the way to an exam. I have about two months in-between exams, so the plan was 50 per day and a little reading+videos. Hopefully it works!

In my opinion if you are moving too fast through the question you might just be recognizing the question and the multiple choice and not really thinking about the answer. I was doing about 100-150 questions a night after work. At the start it would take me 2.5 hours to get through the 100 questions towards the end I could do 100 questions in 40 minutes. I tried to think of my answers as much as possible as well. After taking the exam, I recommend writing out JEs for questions and the computations. This way it will really stick.

    FAR - 78*
    AUD - 66, 79
    REG - 73, 76
    BEC - 79
