I took 2 weeks off to give my mind a rest after FAR and feel great. Next section is Audit. How long did you all take off?

I took tests on Saturday mornings and began studying the next section Monday. I didn't trust myself with more time off than that.

2 weeks off is very smart. It's amazing what a clear mind will do for you. I'd rather take 2 weeks off and then hit it hard for 2 weeks than take 2 days off and study 4 weeks but start off already worn out !

I always timed my tests so that I took them within 3 days of the window ending. That way I only had to wait about a week or so to get my score, so I would take off that time and relax a little (or try) while waiting for the score release.

I took 2 weeks off between my first AUD attempt and starting studying for my 2nd AUD test. I took the 2nd test on November 13th and will not start studying again until January. I needed the break mentally and to really enjoy the holidays with my kids. I'm getting the CPA to be promotable, not to find a first job or a new job so the rush isn't a factor for me as much as it would be for others.
