I have five more weeks till audit and I don’t feel prepared at all. Bec took me 4 months to study for.

I’ve heard ranges from six months to 3 weeks. What is the average for each part?

i mainly study on the weekends and on my days off. maybe a few hours after work. im having a hard time really grasping the material tho, since i havent used much of it at my current job and its been a few years since i took them in school. im also like you where i can become easily distracted by things lol

yeah cpaexcel definitely has tons of info. I'm doing lectures -> text (and notetaking while I read) -> mcq's. It's pretty time consuming but it works for me to absorb the material.

I'm using CpaExcel too. At first, I would do all 3 of them, but as time fly by, it changed. Now I only do the multiple choice first and look through all the different answers to see why it's right/wrong. Then by the end of each section would I go back and watch the lectures. If I don't understand the lectures, I would use the text. The text, I feel, has too much info

Less Depth, More Breadth. Then if you're bored, go indepth 😉

    FAR - 62 (10/2/13), 50 (5/30/14)
    AUD - 73 (10/30/13), 66 (5/6/14)
    REG - 69 (4/8/14)
    BEC - 66 (2/27/13), 73 (4/21/14)

yea but if i did that, i'd get every multiple choice question wrong and get really discouraged. did you take FAR already, i see you had it on 10/2

Yeah, I already took it and I'm just waiting for the results (Nov 2~). Not including the sims, I felt the MCQs on CpaExcel was harder than the actual test's MCQs. As for getting discouraged, go into study mode. Instead of guessing which one is right or wrong (using your brain/memory), click through all of them. Know why it's right or wrong in the first place. Continue on and reading the explanation for other MCQs. After an hour or 2 has passed, then do the actual test. See how many you can remember. As for the sims… lol. I believe the research and 2 other sims were similiar to cpaexcel's. The rest, I don't know how to prepare because it's nothing like cpaexcel.
