How did I go from FAR 74 in August to FAR 66 in November after working hard

    I worked maybe 2000 MCQ some sims, and thought I understood the material better than in August and

    my score went from 74 to 66.

    same thing happened to me for far, went 1 point lower on my retake. maybe switch up the study materials

    Same thing happened to me. I went from a 73 to a 67. Just passed on the third tie with an 82.

    I think it's important to remember that the composition of the tests can change. You may have been tested heavily on your best subjects for the first exam and tested heavily on your worst subjects for the second exam. That's what happened to me. I got murdered on governmental stuff on the second one. I detest govt accounting.

    I doubled down and studied harder- especially on my weak subjects. I used the same material for all three tests (Wiley 2011 CPA books).

    I passed FAR on my 4th attempt…74, 72, 72, 86… as @billbrasskey stated, I focused on my weak areas (even though it sucked getting owned on MQCs) but it helped. I really worked to understand the questions rather than just pound questions out. Quality > Quantity
