I graduated college over 10 years ago. I am just now taking the CPA exams due to not working for so long after I graduated. Does anyone have suggestions on the best review courses to get me back up to speed on everything I have forgotten since graduation? Has anyone else been in this situation?

I'm currently using Gleim. I love this program. I used Becker before and I had a really hard time sitting thru the lectures. We'll see how well Gleim has prepared me. I'm taking my first test on Saturday with using Gleim.

I would suggest looking over examples from each of the different teaching courses (Yaeger, Becker, Roger, etc.). The majority should have examples on their websites or on youtube. That is what I did when I was choosing.

Ninja Combo, Yaeger, Wiley -- Licensed CPA, May 2015

I'm using Roger CPA review and I also purchased the NINJA audio. I'd try out the free sample stuff from the different courses and see which one you like better. I chose Roger because I think he is very good at keeping your attention and I was one of him campus reps back in the day. I've been out of school for 8 years. I really like the Wiley test bank that comes with Roger's course. I did a sample exam yesterday and now I'm going over all the questions I missed and fingers crossed I won't make the same mistakes on the exam. You can also choose to focus your questions on specific topics, etc. Doing the questions and even getting them wrong and reading the answers is really helping me remember this stuff… Good luck!

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

I was out of college for 8 years (non-accounting related work) and had forgotten virtually everything I'd learned. I chose Becker because it leads you through by the nose, which is what I thought I'd need. Having just finished the process (waiting on BEC but pretty sure I'm done), I wouldn't recommend Becker to you. What seems really crucial is (a) some sort of organized explanation of the topics and (b) tons of MCQs available to work. Becker does both of these, of course, but it does so in an annoying, inefficient, and dramatically overpriced system.

Can't say which of the non-Becker courses is best–but I suspect it doesn't really matter all that much because they all provide those two fundamental elements I mentioned above. You've been out a long time and coming back from such a long layoff into these nasty exams is really tough. At the end of the day, passing will hinge almost entirely on your dedication to the task–not which study guide you choose. Good luck and work hard!
