I use Becker and just failed REG for the 3rd time and AUD for the 2nd time. I still have access to AUD but will have to pay the license fee of $195 to extend REG.

Has anyone used the Becker Final Review before? I can buy each section for $165 for an abbreviated study. I’m not sure if this is the best option. I have failed both exams by 1 point so I know I have the knowledge but I get test anxiety and the testing center I have to go to is loud and distracting. I have to pass both by the end of February or I will lose my BEC credit.

I tried contacting my state board to extend my BEC credit and was told that waiting 3+ months to find out I failed REG the 2nd time and 2+ months to find out I failed REG the 3rd time and AUD the 2nd time was not a valid reason for an extension.

@jdub: I am having the same frustration as far as needing a more clearer and live person to help me chose the correct NINJA product.
I passed AUD already using BECKER.
I failed FAR twice now (my 2nd attempt resulted in a 9 point decrease than my 1st attempt).
I am not sure if I should just keep using my BECKER or supplement with NINJA. But what package.
I can't through to anyone live or text.

if u just need the assistance on top of the review course you have I would suggest getting scout (save some $$) If you feel like you may want it for additional six months get the middle package.

From personal experience I used Roger for my lecture review and Ninja MCQs until test day.

    Good Luck!

hi sweet<3 soon to be CPA ,

I feel that Wiley is not covering all the topics . Being a student from another country , do you think Becker gives a more comprehensive study of a subject ?

Learning a new method of studying is also going to be difficult … .. so many questions ..

I have never used Becker. I used Wiley MCQ for BEC and the questions were somewhat helpful but for Lectures purposes I used Rogers (Rogers is $2,000 vs Becker $3,000).

I supplemented with Ninja MCQ after I heard good reviews and thereafter when I saw passing results! 🙂

Best of luck, you are half way there !! 🙂

I don't know that Becker Final Review is worth that price. (I'm using it, but it was only about $100 total on top of the regular course for all 4 sections. It's worth at least that to me.)

If Becker isn't working for you, you may wish to consider switching to another review program. Full Ninja, Yaeger, etc. review programs can be purchased for similar money as to Becker Final Review.

@jdub I used the Becker Final Review for REG, when I was going into my 4th attempt (finally passed it then). I highly recommend it. When I re-studied, here is what I did:

    1. Re-did the Becker regular REG course (lectures, MCQ, SIMS, flash cards; just didn't read the entire chapters in the textbook this time). This step may be tricky for you if your REG has expired; you may have to bite the bullet and pay for the extension.

    2. With about 10-12 days left before my exam, I began the Becker final review course. It's very straight and to the point. It is not sufficient on it's own, but coming straight off of the regular course, it's fantastic. Really seals the deal and commits crucial concepts to memory.

    3. While doing the final review (and even while doing the regular course, I was using Ninja notes (reading as much as possible, and copying all I could), Ninja Audio (listening in the car (1.5 hours round-trip commute time each day), and working Ninja MCQs. The Ninja MCQs were used the most during my Becker final review.

    4. Quit studying at 7:00 the night before my exam, and just trusted my studies and knew rest would be key to make sure my brain was ready for the exam.

I know I can't speak as much to AUD, but for REG, I really think that Becker final review as well as those 3 Ninja products really got me over the “hump.” Heck, I even studied TOO much! I made a 77, and all you need is a 75! HA!

I hope this is helpful to you.

roger was the best 2k ive spent in a long time, worked like a charm for me, i didnt supplement with anything else.

That being said, its all about finding the right review course or courses that work for your learning style.

Demo them all, do your homework, and find the one that fits for you. I learn best by having a brief lecture to cover the high level concept, then drilling the concepts through questions and sims. I dont learn by reading a book or listening to a non-engaging lecturer telling me to highlight this or box that.

If you dont know your learning style then you are doing yourself a disservice by buying any other programs to try and fix your issues. Determine the style, then find the course that fits.

    Hi ,

Changing the course provider can prove a disadvantage as it can lead to studying a new technique altogether . I am thinking of supplementing the course with advanced curse of Platinum level which gives me all the MCQ and SIMS and DRS .. I am planning to practice them day in and day out and get the exams cleared .I also have a little older print books from Becker ..
Whatever 69 I got in the Audiitng and Regulation is by doing only the book and litsening tot he video lectures on Wiley .

    Any views on this .

    Sticking to
