I lost it and started crying one night because I couldn’t find my ‘good’ red pen that I use to underline and make notes in my study materials…(turned out my fiancée accidentally took it to work. He apologized profusely.)

Has anyone else had any experiences where this exam has caused behavior that is totally out of line of how you normally behave?

I am going to have to look up signs of a thyroid issue just in case my doctor missed something. I remember reading about your situation Kricket now that you mention it and I remember that it was very serious. I hope things are going well for you now.

I was diagnosed with Hashimotos disease in 2008 and thyroid cancer in 2013. My grandmother died of thyroid cancer and none of my aunts have a fully functioning thyroid. Stay on top of things and remember to Check Your Neck frequently.

Thanks for the information Kricket. I am really blaming the stress that this test is causing me though.
