    Read the book over and over again. And I’m talking like around maybe 20 times. Just curious I talked to a few people who said they passed this way.

    I feel like you would be in for a rude awakening when you see actual questions

    I don't think that's effective. A few times maybe, but you need to be able to apply that through problems, I personally have always learned best through problems. And I study by reading all the wrong answer explanations as well.

    FAR = 86 4/22/16
    BEC = 80 6/01/16
    REG = 07/26/16
    AUD = ?

    I know one person that read 2 different books and did the MCQ in the book and passed FAR … they are ultra smart and I would never be able to do it.

    Are you giving yourself a year to read the book 20 times? Doesn't sound to efficient…

    I have to read and do questions. I cannot understand the concept without doing questions.

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
    Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again

    I have passed REG and FAR, and I did not read either book all the way through.

    I skimmed the book for certain areas, Watched all of Rogers videos, and Crush Ninja MCQ and Roger IPQ.

    Everyone has their own routine, as for me, I just do MCQs and look them up in the book. No use in reading the whole thing for me.

    I'm sure it's possible but it seems like you'd be giving yourself a handicap in studying for no reason.

    BEC - 78 (August 2015)
    FAR - 80 (November 2015)
    AUD - 73, 67. (Ok I gotta confess I was even more lazy this time around)

    I have a friend who passed who would read the book once “very slowly” and make sure he fully understood everything and did the questions once.

    But most other people I talk to that have passed swore by doing a ton of questions.

    Enough mcqs to understand the material. I averaged about 120 per day during my entire prep time for each section and 250+ in the last two weeks before each exam.

    Oh Lord, I don't think I have Add, but trying to read a book 20 times, would mean there are only 20 pages, especially if it is the wiley book. Not a good study tool. Read what you need is my philosophy

    @wombataholic
    , I'm focusing on MCq's for reg, testing 2/29. Do you think 100+ a day is enough to be ready? I might have to wait til April :-(( I still have not received my notice yet.

    The more I study for these exams, the less time I spend with my nose in the books and the more time I spend just hammering practice problems. I've noticed that whether I spend 2 hours reading the chapter taking detailed notes, or spend 20 mins skimming through the chapters, I generally understand the material about the same and score about the same on the first time through the practice problems. So I'm trying to use my time more efficiently to figure out how I learn the most and quickest. So what I'm trying to say is that reading the book 20 times without practice problems would do close to nothing for me. That is just me though, everyone is different.

    Possible. But that's really inefficient. Just read it a couple times and do MCQ's.
