Wondering how often this happens… I am worried about REG. The MCQ’s were really strange and hard!

Probably people who simply memorized the questions and answers without understanding the underlying concepts and/or mechanics of doing computational questions.

You'll be fine- I did the same thing on BEC. Told my parents, etc. that I was SURE I failed after making 90-92 on all of my progress tests on Becker. Score comes back- 96. No, I'm not one of those people that tells you I think I failed and end up doing really well. You'll be fine.

That is the google doc that Jeff keeps showing the people who reported their trending and their actual score.

Based on a quick view of it, 121 people were trending 90+, 14 of those individuals failed their exam.

Or in more positive terms, 88.4% of those people who reported trending 90+ passed their exam.

It happens when people memorize answers after doing 3,000 questions. If your average score and trending score are miles apart – it's a red flag.

@Colin thanks! My average was 76 and trending was around 90 after about 1,200 Ninja MCQ's. Also had done 1,500 or so from Wiley while going through my course. My trending got pretty high from answering “trouble” questions quite a bit towards the end. Hopefully I am between the trending and average! Man, that was a nasty first testlet though 🙁

Definitely reference the link that Colin provided and dump that sucker into Excel. I ran some pretty sweet pivot tables off of it. #NerdAlert

It's definitely possible, but if you really understood the concepts when you were answering in Becker, you should be fine… Good luck!

My REG exam back in March was that same way, my MCQs were really hard. The first testlet was so hard I wasn't even sure if the 2nd testlet got more difficult.

My average % correct for NINJA on REG was 78% after answering all the questions. I felt way better after my AUD exam than I did REG, but then got a better score on REG.

So I think being 76% correct on the ninja questions means you likely did pretty well.

Fingers crossed I am not one of the outliers!

@The People's Champ, I believe we took our tests pretty close to each other based on our experience thread.
Funny enough, my average was low too, b/c I had struggle areas, and then trending went up, when I started to focus by subject area as I grasped more concepts.

We shall see end of June.

    FAR: 76
    REG: Currently studying
    AUD:
