I have 20 days between my test date and my next possible date. Given that I will only have 20 days, is it more doable to study for AUD or FAR in 20 days?

    Thanks

Didn't you already make the same thread a couple days ago?

    FAR - June 2016 - 88
    REG - July 2016 - 89
AUD - Aug 2016 - review phase currently
    BEC - Sep 2016 -

Yes, I forgot that I did.

I do not see a delete button for this. Oh well. I did not get your opinion though, hahaha, so it is worth asking in a sense even though it was a mistake.

    Funny:)

So my opinion is that, it's harder to remember if we already asked about it and created a thread than studying for either parts:)

I don't think it's practical for someone to adequately study for any of the CPA sections in 20 days (especially if you are working). That being said, I think that AUD would be the more doable of the two.

Luckily I am not working right now. And also there is not much of a choice. The next day to test would be 26 days additionally ahead so having 48 days is too much in my opinion. Thanks though.

AUD. Both subjects are hard but FAR's material nearly doubles AUD – there is double material you need to study and memorize.

    FAR -
    BEC - 48,
    AUD -
    REG - 74, 70, 79

Oh OK. I guess AUD is close in material to REG then, thanks.

AUD has far less material. I feel like the questions for AUD are slightly more difficult than FAR on average but not by much. Since time isn't on your side, I would go with AUD.

Audit for sure even though it's one sneaky SOB

    FAR (6/9/16) - 81

    AUD.

FAR in most respects is straight up where you can reason your way to the right answer, it was just the sheer amount of content that you had to study.

But man studying the differences between comps/reviews/examinations/etc was absolute hell with how subtle they were.

If you're not working, you should be able to take any CPA exam within 3 weeks. You could comfortably complete 2 Becker chapters every 3 days. FAR has 10 chapters and AUD has 6 chapters. Do the math.

    BEC - 85
    AUD - 81
    REG - 84
    FAR - 7/24/16

If you only have 20 days, go for Audit. Study A1-A4, forget A5, and just study Ethics in A6. Don't overlook Ethics. FAR will be too much to do in 20 days I think, although I think FAR is easier, it will be too much of an overload.
