AnonymousInactiveHello guys again,
I wasn’t surprise that I failed again, but I was surprise when I saw the score was the same ” 39 ” in the second exam that I take it back on July.!!
I’m not sure why all my scores are in 39 zone.!!
I tried Roger, Becker and whily test bank.! all of them give me the same result
this week I will buy the full ninja materials, and hopefully I can get out from 3x zone
I know some of you guys are sick of me when I post here, but I have feeling from the beginning when I registered that someone can guide me to the right way. A lot of good people out there , and this forum basically is union them here
Thanks,

AnonymousInactiveFirst of all, I appreciate all of you for your times one by one. It's really meant to me a lot, Thanks
Some of you hit me with heavy words, and that's ok cause I deserve it, and some of you show me the light in the end of the tunnel. Now I'm gonna change the whole things, and I will try to focus more and put the highlighting away and just write write.
I will try again with BEC, but this time I will make sure to have one month off from work to focus on the materials I already have.
I will try my best this time, Thanks all
Last thing, all this what I'm doing for my father.! He already had CPA in the 90′ and he asked me to get CPA before he passed away 2 years ago, also I wanna take it from my will, since I love challenging myself. I don't care about money, I already have enough money to travel the world, but I'm trying to accomplish my father wish before marriage and enjoying the life again.
Thanks all for your support, It's meant to me a lot 🙂

YuejanvierMemberi have used the wiley and wiley test bank for my first trial FAR, and didn't pass..with a 64 score
kind of feel the same way like you do now. I start to think about the way i study and the way i do in the real exam.
Maybe i shall print out the book , not only just highlight on the book, which will allow me to write down the important MC number that i have practiced for later review. i have ordered the becker review and final review, including video. Some of my friends who pass the exam with a 80s score told me that they just follow the video the first time, and get to know the concept of the chapter, and do the pass master right after the video , so will understand the lecture further more by practicing.
How i wish i can pass the exam the first trial, but now i feel the uncertain, feel not confident.
btw, i am going to take the audit this end of month, hopefully the change way of studying will take me to the pass.

jasonrobbinsMemberEmma,
I can't imagine taking a test in a second language, what a tough thing to do! Kuddos
However, reading your posts makes me think that you might need a little more practice with your English. I have been reading English all my life and these questions can really trick you with how they word things.
Where are you from originally?
AUD- 97 1x
REG- 81 1x
BEC- 79 1x
FAR- 88 1xDONE!
10/1/12 to 2/28/14

Study MonkMemberIf I had money to travel the world I would be struggling with passing my CPA exam as well.
I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:
"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

redox1100Participant“i don't know why i got a 39” is a ridiculous statement to me. I'd be happy to give constructive criticism to someone who actually is trying.

samdiegoCPAMember@emma – I also use Roger/Wiley.
I failed all 4 exams the first try and have passed 3/4 on the second try, and taking the 4th (AND LAST!!) one on Feb 27th. What I had to do to pass for ME, was rewrite all 4 Roger books in Word in my own words and formatted how I feel I would learn best. Then I did all the MCQ in the Wiley book and if I had trouble figuring out the answer (which is most of the time), then I will use my notes to try and figure out the question first, if I have no idea or am struggling, then I look at the answer and write the explanation in my notes under that subject area. I used the WTB as well but it expired in October, so I didn't use it for BEC and won't for FAR as well. After I've gone through all the HW, I should have everything in my notes that could be presented on the exam.
I have the NINJA flashcards, Becker final review PDF, and a few other things I've found online to supplement me as well that I will add to my notes. This helps me learn because I am constantly refering back to my notes for answers while answering MCQ and remembering how to calculate things.
This is what worked for me, but highlighting does absolutely NOTHING for me, hand writing notes wastes too much time, flashcards are okay for me, but I have ADHD and can only do them with a friend, and audio used to work for me, but I zone out pretty bad during it. You gotta find out what works best for you whether it's flashcards, notes, audio, video, and stick with it!! Yu can do it and I admire you doing this for your dad, he is rooting for you and so are we!

AnonymousInactive@Redox — Must be nice to be perfect. Don't trip when you get off your pedestal. C'mon, dude…obviously, she's an ESL test taker. I don't think it's fair to pretend like you know her situation. I agree that it's a very low score, but a little empathy goes a long way. Hopefully the exam is going well for you.

redox1100Participantfirstly, when did I say I was perfect? You made that statement up to create the image I am “on a pedestal.” You want me to take back the statement that I don't think she is trying? I won't. She needs to put real, honest effort in. She can't begin to succeed unless she redefines her definition of “effort.” If she associates a 39 with effort then she'll be taking this exam for the next 20 years and fail every time. That is all I am saying – the truth.
