Hi folks… I just completed my Bachelors degree in Accounting and its time to start studying for the first part of the CPA!

I have to sign up with the AICPA, but I’m not sure which section I’m supposed to sign up on. Am I missing something?

Hi SuperJustin1978, You need to apply through your state board of accountancy to take any section. Have you done this yet? You wont actually be doing anything with AICPA. NASBA and your state board administer everything for the exams.

I suggest FAR but everyone is different. It is nice to have FAR behind you if you pass, you wouldnt want to that large of an exam while running against the clock.
