    Hello all,

I am hoping you seasoned vets can help me a little.

I made the mistake of only studying for about two weeks for AUD. I went through the whole Becker AUD process and my brain was mush.I took the second to last day before the exam to let my brain rest, did some mild studying the day before and went to take the exam on 5/31. I had mixed feelings when I left the exam and thought it could go either way.

I got a 68……ugh…..I tried to rush things to avoid the changes to AUD, and failed, but at least I tried.

I got on another71 and have seen a lot if success with NINJA. Is there anyone here that NEEDED to study if you know what I mean, and has ONLY used NINJA with great success?

I like Becker, but NINJA seems more streamlined and user friendly espescially when coupled with Wiley Test Bank.

    Any thoughts or recommendations?

I also have a son on the way with a due date of 8/26/13…..do think it is possibke to use NINJA to complete ALL sectionsbefore then?

I'm sorry you failed, it feels awful.

You are underestimating the depth and difficulty of these exams. 2 weeks is nowhere near enough time to study for any one of these sections. At an absolute minimum you will need at least 4 weeks to study for each section, most people say 6 weeks minimum is what is needed to pass FAR. Also, “studying” will mean around 20 hours per week. These are loose estimations of time and it varies for each person, but I would say these are the minimum.. The CPA exam will require an intense time commitment on your part.

I don't think you can realistically expect to pass all four sections of the exam by August.

As for NINJA, it is not a stand alone study strategy. Most people use their chosen study materials (Becker, Yaeger, Roger) and then add NINJA materials (notes, audio, flashcards) to reinforce what they are learning. The Wiley Testbank provides additional multiple choice practice and is already integrated with Yaeger and Roger materials. It would be a good addition to your materials no matter what study materials you are using.
