I took all of the exams and I am waiting on my last score for BEC. It’s been a year since I took FAR and 6 months since I took REG.

I forgot how the AMT formula, how to calculate partnership basis, foreign currency translation, pension accounting, and government accounting. I thought I’d be an accounting superstar at this point, but I just feel like a loser. Anyone else feel like this? Maybe I’m going through study-withdrawal since I haven’t studied in 2 weeks and I was used a pretty strict study regimen. But I’m questioning what it was all for…

I barely remember what I studied in the beginning of FAR… there's no chance I remember much from BEC, REG. & AUD

Here's the way I look at it: the CPA exam isn't a test to prove that you can use this knowledge from here on out, it's a test to show that you CAN understand, comprehend, and explain concepts given the resources to do so.

I agree with the acronym , acamp, hopefully, we'll never have to take it again in our lives. I would cry if I had to take it again.

Also, people expect you to know this stuff off the top of your head so it's just difficult to remember everything.

When you get asked a question that you can't spit out an answer to immediately…say, “I need to check to see if the rules have changed on that before I can give you a definite answer. These things change often” It doesn't apply to everything but it will for more complex questions!
