I am really struggling with my decision on which review course to purchase. My employer is offering a fantastic deal on all 4 sections through Becker. Yet, the 18 month expiration really freaks me out. Of course I would love to pass all 4 on the first try within 18 months, but the thought of having to shell out more $$$ if that doesn’t happen is keeping me away. Thoughts? Advice? Will I be doing my self a disservice by not taking advantage of the deal I’m being offered and go with another review course?

Now what the hell do I do?

Don't make decisions in light of something that “might” happen 18 months from now is my advice.

I wish I could get Becker for $1,500. I would jump at that!

I passed all four sections the first time using Becker.

For my 4th and final exam, FAR, I supplemented with CPA Excel since I was so overwhelmed by FAR. CPA Excel did help and in some ways was easier to read. But if I had to choose only one I'd take Becker. The software is superior to CPAExcel.

That's a fantastic price for it.

I was able to pass all four exams within 10 months on a fairly relaxed schedule. I took one test a window and even gave myself a ton of buffer time to study for FAR. I gave myself several weeks in between each exam to relax or take vacations. It's definitely do-able for 18 months. If you fail a part, you'd have time to retake it, or just buckle down and do it faster than I did.

Becker also will give an extension if you're on your last exam. I've heard of students calling and asking for it.

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

The clock doesnt start ticking until you log in the first time.. Up to two years.. So you get an extra 6 months..
