For those who failed…

My wife’s friend sent this email after she found I failed FAR by 1 point. I thought I should share her helpful suggestions. And yes, she was serious.

Ideas that may help [db7555] with taking tests? I realize you may have already tried some of these or these simply won’t work. I thought it couldn’t hurt to suggest.

Someone at church with good test taking skills knowledge? Maybe SAT type person?? He/she may have a few helpful things that would apply to his tests.

An accountant study buddy at church? I know they are all busy now. But [db7555] is crazy busy, maybe the pastor can help find someone?

I have focus exercises called Brain Gym, (you can research it if you want, I will give you website.) You use both hemispheres of your brain in these exercises to warm up your brain for focusing. Helps most people, especially helps those with attention problems. It’s used more in schools nowadays and many educators use it in their classrooms. I also use an anti anxiety brain gym thing to help me.

Dude, you failed your third exam by one point. You don't need advice other than to suck it up, re-study and take it again. I did that after back to back 74's. It's just a matter of time until you pass. Patience.

    Licensed Florida CPA:
    B: 71, 73, 79
    A: 83
    R: 78 (expired), 77
    F: 74, 74, 80

    It's finally freaking over.

I do think those that have failed multiple times would benefit greatly by your wife's advice. I think you need to stick to what you have been doing, but just do a little bit more. You obviously know how to pass these tests and the difference between your 74 and a passing 75 could have been one MCQ that you may not have read all the way through. You are so fortunate to have such a supportive wife. This exam can be excruciatingly lonely for those that don't have such a great support system. Good luck on the retake. Okay guys I know all of our brains are fried but it was the OP's wife's friend that made these suggestions and I think OP posted this to give us some comic relief 🙂 but I will say that I think it's nice that she out in the thought to give you some hints. Most ppl don't care enough to do that. Plus, I'm kind of interested in these brains exercises!!! Haha but seriously, hang in there. It is so frustrating to have no one in your life that doesn't understand this exam. I'm convinced all of my friends think I'm an idiot!!!

    FAR- 85 I'm DONE!
    BEC- 75
    REG- 60,60,75
    AUD- 74,74,83

CPAExcel used for BEC, AUD, REG
Exam Matrix used for FAR plus NINJA Blitz, cpareviewforfree and a little CPAExcel
