AnonymousInactiveI know there are people that finish early and pass. Do you check your MCQs or just check the flagged questions? Also, any other thoughts?

AnonymousInactiveI finished every exam with 45 minutes to an hour early, with the exception of REG. I ended up passing them all, so it's definitely possible.

KeelyMemberI finished all of them with over an hour to spare. In the case of AUD, I finished the entire exam in less than an hour and a half. I didn't review anything in any fashion, except the REG SIMs. I figure I either know it or I don't. I blatantly guessed at 80% of the REG stuff in the simulations, but forced myself to go back and work through it one more time, and I know that made the difference in me passing or failing. Basically what in trying to say is, the amount of time you finish a test in has no bearing on whether or not you passed. Never hurts to go back and double-check yourself IF you have the time, though.

AmayMemberI reviewed my flagged questions and only reviewed a couple of my sims for AUD…had about 20 mins to spare….not much but it ended up being a good sign since I got an 85.
BEC: 73, 81
AUD: 85
FAR: 71, 77
REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

tough_kittyMemberWell, as some people pointed out already, you may finish early either because you don't know the answers and you are just guessing or because you are well-prepared and you don't need much time to answer each question. Can go either way…
For me, I'd flag questions I'm not sure about and go back to them but I usually don't change my answers.
I had about 20 min to spare on the 3 exams I took and I passed them all.

GatorbatesParticipantIn AUD I finished with over an hour left. I was like “WTH??” That being said, I only flagged the ones I wasn't 100% sure on. Finished all 30 MCQ, then went back to the flagged ones (about 5-7 in each testlet) … I got an 83.
Licensed Florida CPA:
B: 71, 73, 79
A: 83
R: 78 (expired), 77
F: 74, 74, 80It's finally freaking over.
