    Final testing week!!! My BEC exam is tomorrow and I'm excited and a little nervous. I'm glad I chose not to push back my exam to July and I definitely feel less overwhelmed with BEC over FAR material (even with all these darn calculations!) Today, I'm just going to take it pretty easy. I'd like to read over my notes a few times, maybe look at a few problems that I'm not that comfortable with and then go over my calculations sheet. Good idea?

    I Googled some motivational quotes for test-takers today just so that I don't get anxious and start panicking. I found one that I really thought was fitting for all of us experiencing the CPA exam process:

    “Forget past mistakes. Forget failures. Forget everything except what you're going to do now and do it.”

    — William Durant

    Good luck to ALL of this week's test-takers!

    Good luck EELCPA! I just got back from the BEC exam and I feel exhausted. Depressing. I felt prepared for this one too but it is such a hard section for me. I didn't feel like this for AUD or REG. Sigh…

    Thanks everybody! LOVING the support!

    @Mom2two, I'm sure you did great. Some of the exams that you feel the most beat up walking out of are the ones with passing scores (or so I hear) Keep your chin up!

    @Tina82, good luck test buddy!

    @ Tina82…I bet you will do great. Some of the sections of BEC are my beast, like econ and variances. But I felt prepared for those this time. There were just some things I felt like were way out of left field. I can't disclose anything of course but for FAR I am planning to scour the AICPA website for all the updates. I bought the updates from Yaeger for BEC but I think it would be helpfully to know all of them because you never know which section an update might pop up on. One thing that did help, do those 2012 released questions. Someone had a thread on here in the BEC section with the pdf of the 41 released questions. That was a good “pop quiz” if you need a few extra questions. I did 1,302 multiple choice questions (wiley twice) and that is not including the homework questions from the lectures and I still felt some things I had not seen before. 🙁 But I learn by repition so that is why I did that many. Oh wells, all I can do is wait. Mini meltdown in the car, few hits of reddiwhip (yes whip cream in a can makes everything better…haha…sorry to the health nuts out there! And I am back to life and all is good. It's an exam and I will eventually pass but for now I am going to enjoy my family for the next 6 weeks before I kick off FAR studying. Good luck to everyone the rest of the window.

    I have BEC tomorrow and started feeling sick yesterday and sure enough I feel like crap today! I totally didn't need this right now. And to top it off, i was accidentlally told that my grandmother is in the hospital via a relative that didn't know my parents were not telling me so I wouldn't worry about that for my test tomorrow. Reallly??? Geez, this is exactly why I need to pass this last exam…so I can get my life back and spend time with my family and moreso my grandmother. Literally, I know someone who has died every week in the past 3 weeks. And now my grandmother is in the hospital, this isn't good. I don't even want to tell my parents I know about my grandmother cuz that'll get my mom even more nervous with everything she's got going on now (oh and yes she takes care of my 2 year old daughter at night so I can study since my husband travels for work!). I need to focus the rest of today to at least redo a practice test and hope I do better than the first time I took it. I feel like I should keep doing MCQ all day today, but I'm so tired and nervous/stressed, I don't know what the best game plan is for the rest of today….Also thinking back, I should have bought stock in RedBull. So now that I've vented to only those who really understand this process, thank you for listening (reading). Good luck to everyone testing these next couple of days!

    When it rains it pours. Hopefully you can somehow power through this and focus tomorrow for three hours.
