Hi guys!
I am a newbie here. I haven’t taken any CPA exams. I recently purchased Becker & Ninja FAR MCQ . I started studying for FAR. I registered to take the exam on Nov 15th.
I was taking the live classes with Becker but dropped out because the class was going too fast for me. I sometimes need to refresh on my accounting principles.
I decided to study on my own and watch the lectures online. However, I skipped F2 and some SIMS questions to stay on track with the live classes. I am not sure about my studying strategy. I am currently on F5 and dealing with bonds.
When I watch the lectures I seem to understand the concept. However, when I start doing the homework I feel completely lost.
Do you guys suggest that I should just do hw problems? (Even if I always get the questions wrong)
Or go back and take detail notes of the lecture notes. Like I said.. I seem to understand the concept in the lectures but when I get to the MCQ I feel very lost.
Also, do you guys suggest I study one chapter a week? Or two chapters. I only work 40 hours/ week but learning the concepts might take me awhile. I need to refresh some accounting principles sometimes. Please help me! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated it.
