Hey all! I am planning on taking REG after BEC (I have already passed audit)… is REG a good idea for the next section to tackle? Thanks for the input!

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

I spent around 7-8 weeks for FAR, and about 6 weeks for REG.

@titoav15 It's just a lot of material, even compared to AUD. AUD is pure memorization. FAR you have to know this material, sometimes down to the tiny details. Also learning the differences between IFRS and GAAP was a pain. I think after FAR everything else seems a little more manageable.

I spend about 10 weeks for each section. I consider myself a slow studier. I usually spend a week reading, highlighting, taking notes and doing MCQ's for each chapter. Last two weeks are for review and WTB.

I spent more time at the library with FAR, towards the end I was spending 3/4 hours after work at the library trying to remember journal entries, calculations, etc.

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    Finally!

FAR has so much material. As you go along you constantly have to refresh on the material you've already covered so you don't lose it. The quantity of topics/JEs/Formulas is what makes FAR difficult. I wish I had taken it first too.

Cool ninjas, thanks for the input! 🙂 Just wondering one last thing… would any of the REG material overlap with FAR(I have not studied either one yet, so sorry if this is a stupid question)?
