Hey all! I am planning on taking REG after BEC (I have already passed audit)… is REG a good idea for the next section to tackle? Thanks for the input!

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

REG takes a shorter amount of time to study for compared to FAR. Are you a tax accountant?

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

@NYCaccountant I am not a tax accountant, but I did do well in my tax and law classes. Would you say REG would be a good section to take up or should I go with FAR? How many weeks did you allocate to both?

FAR is harder than REG, but I had no tax experience and was able to pass REG, so you should choose that because looks like you'll have an easier time.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

I deeply regret not taking FAR first..or sooner. It required so much. I would suggest FAR next

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    Finally!

I would suggest FAR next too. FAR was more time consuming for me and took longer to understand certain concepts.

REG was lengthy too but it was easier to understand. A lot of the material felt straightforward (no tax experience before either).

I spent around 7-8 weeks for FAR, and about 6 weeks for REG.
