The last test will always be really stressful no matter what it is. Looking back I would have taken FAR somewhere in between since it's the longest. Although I hated BEC most so far. It's more important that you pick & commit. I wasted a lot of time trying to decide.

    R - 74;88
    A - 84
    B - 74;89
    F - no study = 67; May 15 = 87 & done

Thanks for the input. How did you make such a big jump on BEC? 74 to an 89?!?!!!!!! That's awesome. I am about to take BEC next weekend and I hate this section. Any advice?

    BEC 66 71 (Nov 12) 80
    REG 54 81 (May 13) 81

As you can see I had two 74s. I didn't do anything differently actually. I went through the material the same way as first time except it was more of a very heavy review-type studying. I thought I would fail BEC again since I hated it so much and it felt very overwhelming. Sometimes it's just the test you get, maybe the second test had more material that I was comfortable with. What I did start doing after my first 74 is allocating time a bit differently on the test; I actually allocated more time (probably around 40 to 45 minutes) on the first testlet since that one determins your next as far as I know. For BEC specifically the writing questions were pretty easy for me both times so I focused on MCQs more.

One note, obviously I didn't know what the writing questions would be but you're not searching through literature to find the answer. Just have to put a good few paragraphs together with some key words. Don't blow it off though; missing by one point sucks big time so everything counts.

personally i took FAR first. passed on the first try

my dad's client works at the AICPA and suggested this order: FAR, AUD, REG, BEC – basically based on degree of difficulty i believe. although AUD is giving me the most trouble so…. really AUD & FAR are the hardest in my opinion, REG & BEC seem to be slightly less hard

    FAR - 1/26/2012 - PASSED (78, but Lost credit), re-do 11/27/2013 - PASSED (87)!
    AUD - EPIC FAIL, 71, 69; 68; 5/25/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    REG - 10/1/2012 - 72; 7/1/2013 - 73 UGH, 10/1/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    BEC - 2/28/2013 - PASSED (82)!

Used Becker self-study materials (just this for FAR original & REG #1), WileyTestBank, NINJA notes/audio, and Roger cram course for AUD #5, REG #3 & FAR reboot. CPA!

I took REG before FAR and am glad I did. The REG material went into depth on the permanent and temporary difference which was a huge help to me in FAR.

I took the exams in the following order: BEC, AUD, REG, FAR. I have passed in the following order: AUD,BEC, REG and waiting on FAR results.

Personally I took FAR first because it is the most material and when you first get started you are excited and eager to study…not so much by the time you reach test 4. I went FAR-AUD-REG-BEC and liked the order. I liked it because FAR & AUD have a few overlapping concepts and deal with GAAP where as REG deals with IRS code which can be completely different. BEC I saved for the end because it's short, there are no realy sims to speak of, and all the information is just kind of random.

    FAR: 85
    AUD: 80
    REG: 78
    BEC: 82

Took FAR first, saving REG for last. I like the order I took it in so far, if I were to do it all over again I would do it FAR, REG, AUD, BEC. Most time consuming to least so when I start getting burned out it won't be as bad since I won't have to be in the library from 9-9 like I was the week before FAR.

    FAR- 8/14/12 91
    AUD- 10/16/12 88
    BEC- 11/07/12 92
    REG- 01/05/13 86

REG, hands down. Absolutely crazy with that little amount of time

FAR sims? I left 2 blank and still managed to pass.

I have never seen people who left 2 sims blank in REG can pass
