Failed multiple times, new strategy? - Page 3

Ok, so here’s my situation, I’ve taken the AUD & FAR parts only. Ive taken each of them 3 times, Failed every single one. I’ve scored between 67-73 each time. I feel like I need a month break during busy season before I blow a effing gasket and quit all together. Should I move onto something new, like REG or continue with the same 2 that I can’t seem to master. Part of my failed attempts is not allowing enough study time for each section. I’m going to work on that.

    Any suggestions? comments?

*Feels like curling up in a ball and crying*

Keep working hard! Picture that first pass and just know that when you get there the feeling is so worth it. Don't ever give up!

Good luck on your next go around. 🙂

Thank you guys for the words of encouragement and suggestions. I KNOW I can pass. I think I've just been really down about the whole thing because I have spent so much time away from my 2 year old and it's just so frustrating. But I WILL pass these darned tests. lol

Reading this blog post that was posted a couple of weeks really hit home to me. https://www.another71.com/ninja-cpa-blogger-katrina-1/

I know exactly how you feel. I have 3 kids (1,2, and 4) and I have to spend a lot of time apart from them so I can study too. It is disheartening, but I just keep telling myself that the harder I work now, the less time I will be away from them in the long run. You can do it. Just know it won't always be this way and you're doing this to give your children a better future.

Continue with a section that you've already started. Don't start studying a 3rd section now.

The information needs to “build” inside you head for you to “get” it. Repetition is how we learn.

    Review, review, review.

You'll catch onto more details each time.

So, pick a section that you've already studied and go deeper and deeper with that ONE until you pass.

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15
    Praise Jesus! I'm done!!
