As the topic says I just found out I failed FAR with a 66 (SIMS really messed me up) I am currently in the middle of AUD about half way through the Becker book.

Need some guidance on what I should do next. Restart my studying for FAR and take in beginning of July? or continue my AUD studying?

You help is very appreciated.

If i was not having to wait until the end of May to find out my score i would probably stop AUD and study FAR again. Since i have to wait so long and then the next testing window opens up 4 weeks after my score release i am going to continue on AUD and take that then retake FAR if needed at the end of August.

Yeah I was thinking about taking FAR first week in July than either take AUD in end of July or Early September

The only shame is I don't think I need 2 months of studying to achieve the 75 pass score

Now the question is how do I go about studying again for FAR. I don't think im going to watch the video lectures maybe just read the notes and to the Ninja MCQ's and Sims

Kind of a hybrid of when it comes to learning. What I did before was go through all the lectures then try to bang out as many MCQ's as possible. Fell for the highlight routine Becker was preaching but guess it didn't pay off.

MY girlfriend just proposed this approach. She said that I should finish the Audit lectures before I go back to studying FAR because the FAR material would just be a refresher.

That do you guys think?

no offense, but you will want to start over with FAR and that will take 7 weeks – you need to raise your score 9 points and you won't be refreshing on every topic. For example, I won't remember Bonds 2 weeks later, etc

You won't remember the AUD lectures by the time August comes around

If i were you i would jump back into FAR right now or finish AUD and take AUD the first of July then FAR end of August. This is what i am doing but i also dont find out my score until the 27th.

But FAR is a bigger beast and to have to completely relearn all of it….
