I would like to be done with the CPA exam by the end of October (I start work full time) and I don’t know how to fit in both my FAR retake and REG. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    BEC 75! 08/30/12
    FAR 68, 73, 83! 10/27/12
    REG 80! 11/24/12

    DONE!!!

Retake FAR asap but study like you don't know anything. Don't make the mistake of just studying the bits and pieces that you think you missed last exam…the new exam will be completely different.

    Good luck.

I think that taking REG and then possibly failing it would be fairly devastating, I'd go for the FAR retake. REG is no pushover and certainly a better shot of failing it on the first try.

Retake FAR first. If you are not working full time yet, study for both.

    FAR Passed
    REG Passed
    AUD Passed
    BEC Passed

All aboard, this train's leaving. Next stop, TBD!

As far as studying for two sections, what is my best plan of attack? FAR will be first on the agenda since you guys are right and I should probably go with something that is freshest in my mind…
