So I failed FAR miserably… I knew better than to try and take it as I wasn’t ready.

Taking BEC on Sunday, I think I will nail it this time as I am doing really good in the MCQ questions in both Becker and Wiley…

But the question is due I retake FAR in January and then take audit in February?

Or do I retake audit first and get it out of the way and then focus on FAR.

I will be devastated if I lose REG as I struggled to get a passing grade on that one.

What would you do?

I am in a similar situation and from what you described i probably would go back to FAR since the info is still kinda fresh. With AUD you're gonna have to start all over. Whatever you decide to do, give it 110% you can do this, good luck!

Personally, I would retake FAR and then do audit. There is sooooo much material in FAR. I would study for it while it's still fresh in your mind. Then focus on audit.

If I fail FAR on December 9th, I lose credit for AUD. If that happens, I plan to retake FAR in early January while the material is still fresh. And then cram for AUD and sit for it at the end of February.

If it was me on FAR I would take FAR it is a beast and took me 4 times to pass.

Hey – so I am in the exact same boat as you. I failed FAR with a 74 and will lose audit 11/30. I'm going to keep studying for FAR since it's somewhat top of mind (I haven't looked at it since exam day – 10/24).

In conclusion… stay with FAR

I'd agree with most as I think you should take FAR as it's still somewhat fresh in your mind and I don't think there are any updates between now and January. IMO – don't think of it as having a backup plan; this forces you to go balls to the wall on your redo. You'll get it. If you haven't already, consider purchasing NINJA MQCs (for a measly $30ish bucks and work to understand the concepts (not a plug- I purchased NINJA MQCs to supplement Becker and after 3 tries, I went from a 72 to an 86).
