    Hey guys,

So this is my second attempt at taking FAR. The first time I took it I made a 72 and scored weak on the MCQ and strong on the Simulations. This time when I took it I made a 73 and scored strong on the MCQ and weak on the Simulations.

I am planning on taking the exam again sometime in the beginning of July. What should I do? I currently use Becker and feel that I have done every single MCQ in there. Should I get the NINJA MCQ or maybe the Wiley ones? I need help with a study plan guys! I just want to take this test again and hopefully pass it this time.

    Thanks!

    Will,

I mentioned in the other post, waiting a few days before trying again questions that you got wrong on homework, helps me to commit the information to memory better. Becker gives you that opportunity. I would study another section for a couple of days, then come back to the questions on the first section, etc. Just an idea.

    Good luck!

I highly recommend getting the Ninja Notes and the Wiley Notes. Ninja is more high level, and Wiley is more in depth, but they both do a great job of organizing the quantity of information this exam has on it. Prior to the notes I made a 70. After the notes, I made an 87.

    REG - 78 (1/13)
    BEC - 82 (4/14)
    FAR - 87 (5/14)
    AUD - 92 (5/14)

I got a 72,74, then an 82 on FAR. I really feel like doing questions on my weaker subjects along with the NINJA notes is what got my score up. NINJA notes is the only thing that was new about my studying routine the 3rd time. I bought them a week before my 2nd retake. That wasn't enough time to rewrite them… I also rewatched some of the lectures from my course and reread some of the stuff in my book. The 2nd attempt I was less nervous than the 1st attempt, the 3rd attempt I was really nervous. I was having to report back at work to my boss and his boss on my progress and the 3rd time the exam just felt super difficult. By the 3rd attempt I felt soo familiar with the material, there was no need to write down some notes quickly when I started. I just knew the material.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.
