I am just curious what others do…

I am trying to take one test at a time and if I fail, then retake that same test before moving on to the next. But I hear a lot of people who sign up for all 4, or even 2-3 on one NTS. What do most people do? and why did you decide to do it?

    FAR - 82
    AUD - 79 (lost credit), 75
    BEC - 76
    REG - 91

I signed up for all 4 on one NTS to save on registration fees and because I didn't know any better at the time. Looking back, I wish I would've just done one (maybe 2) at a time. Now I am pretty much forced to move on to the next test if I fail one. Luckily I haven't had to do that yet. It also put me on a very tight schedule for all 4.

    FAR 7/8/14 - 88 - Becker live course
REG 10/14/14 - 82 - Becker live course, Ninja notes and audio
BEC 11/25/14 - 88 - Becker live course, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
AUD 2/3/15 - 94 - Becker self study, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions

Did all four on one NTS and schedule all four in advance, put me under the gun to get them done 🙂

I did my first one on its own NTS, since I had no idea if I was studying effectively or not, and busy season was going to take up most of the 6 months anyway. I wanted to see how it worked out before applying for any more.

Then I did the next two on one one NTS and scheduled them both, but later regretted it, since it was going to mess up my whole schedule if I didn't pass. Luckily it worked out okay.

I waited to see if I passed the third before applying for the NTS for my fourth.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

I bought my first exam with its own NTS just because I really didn't know any better, then bought my second on its own because it was FAR and I had established a habit of not studying until the last minute. I bought my last two on the same NTS just because I had really gotten tired of paying so much money, and figured a tighter time frame was worth saving $70. 🙂

MY re-examination fees are $150 for one exam and then it increases like $5 for every exam u add. So to apply to 2 exams it's like $155 or something like that which is obviously more practical. That's why I pay for 2 at a time. I also get bored of studying the same subject over and over if I fail, so I like to move on.

    AUD: 84
    FAR: 75
    BEC: 78
    REG: 75

    DONE-ZO!!!!!!!!

REG: Used Becker 2014 book, NINJA MCQ, Ninja notes, ninja audio

I have always agreed with taking a section until you pass, but my method has prolonged my studies. If I had it to do over again I would sign up for 2 tests, take one at the beginning of the testing window and the second at the end of the window, regardless of whether or not I passed the first one. If I failed one I would retake that one at the beginning of the next testing window and another at the end of the second window. The stress of studying so much back to back is nothing in comparison to the extended stress you will have if you stretch this thing out over as many windows as I have. Leave your self a little leeway for life stuff, but try to be thorough in your studies and get this over with as soon as possible.
