I turned in my application, but because I thought I didn’t have enough credits I signed up for 4 credits at my community college. They wouldn’t send in my form saying I was taking those credits so I thought I would have to reapply after the quarter started. I just checked my status and it said:
The processing of your application/registration is complete. Your file will be sent for generation of your Notice to Schedule (NTS). This process takes up to 3 business days if your contact preference was EMAIL; allow 7 business days if your contact preference was US MAIL.
If you do not receive your NTS after 5 business days (for email) or 10 business days (for US mail), contact our office at cpaexam@nasba.org. Please provide the following;
your name,
your jurisdiction,
your jurisdiction id number, and
in the subject line – NTS not received.
Does this mean I actually have enough education credits? I found it hard to determine because I have been to 4 colleges and I didn’t know what would be counted. Have any of you gotten this and NOT had enough credits? I would think they would say “You are deficient in credits, we will send you what you are deficient in 3 business days.”
