I just took my first exam BEC and I failed it with a 64. I am debating studying for it and retaking in November or taking another exam next such as FAR. I know that FAR is the beast but it seems like if you get it, then it helps you to understand the others a bit more. For example when I began my study program the instructor made comments, many times, as you may remember from Financial lectures. Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions or feedback on which is the better option: stick with BEC retake or switch to another exam, specifically FAR? I am about to hit busy season at work (from what I am told, just started 3 weeks ago) and it goes from November-May.

IMHO, no as far as the material is concerned. It may help slightly with REG as noted in an earlier post. If you can pass FAR first, the rest of the exams are a cakewalk as far as endurance is concerned! Using Becker as an example, it has 10 FAR chapters/lessons. I believe the rest of the exams range between 5 and 7 chapters'lessons.

    AUD: Passed
    REG: Passed
    BEC: Passed
    FAR: Passed
