I know this is probably a stupid question, but does everybody in the testing window get the same test? I know the testlets get harder if you’re doing well, but is there, for instance, one testlet #1, and then two testlets #2 and #3 (one medium and one difficult), and one set of 7 sims?

Or is it more like there are 60 “testlet one” questions from which the computer draws 30 random questions for each candidate, and then 150 “testlet two and three” questions, and 20 possible sims that it draws 7 random ones from, and it’s just the luck of the draw which ones you get?

I know that the answer may be “nobody knows” but thought I’d ask.

Nope. Not at all. Like you said, it just pulls random questions together. A lot of people say it's a matter of luck sometimes!

I don't know for sure but I'd guess that we don't. I just sat for BEC and I didn't notice that my testlets got any harder…this could be good or bad! I'm hoping for good.
