F15hyMemberThey all kind of overlap each other, not too much though. I would suggest taking FAR and then AUD. Understanding the FAR topics will help you to perform better on the AUD SIMs, or at least, that's how it worked out for me.

StephAVMemberThere was overlap with FAR and BEC too… I'm taking AUD last. This is making me wonder if I should switch it up. But after 9 months of studying FAR and 3 attempts, I feel like it will be stuck in my mind FOREVER!!!
When I first attempted the CPA exam back in 2005, I took everything but FAR and scored mid-50's on all 3… This time I started with FAR. I also studied this time around… Details!
FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.February 27, 2014 at 12:48 am #520959

Study MonkMemberThe cost accounting in BEC can help you with the fixed asset section in FAR. If I could do it over I would do..
AUD
BEC
REG
I have three cpaexcel classes that have to do with REG that are due May 1st. Based on studying audit it appears that audit wouldn't help you with FAR much. There are a lot of questions in the AUD material that involves auditing complex transactions based on FAR, and there is supposedly journal entries that pop up in AUD sims.
I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:
"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"
