    I did not pass far….FAILED MISERABLY (to shame to report the score). Drying my tears, doing a reality check, working on a real study strategy. Re-take now( Oct/Nov) or move on. I would like to go on to Aud, but I can re-take far without spending any money except for the nts. Input please.

    Have you already started studying for AUD? If not, then I'd retake FAR since its so fresh still.

    Since it's the end of the month, personally I'd attempt to knock out FAR since you already studied for it and like the above post, it's still fresh in your mind. Since FAR is unquestionably the largest exam to cover, you want to complete FAR first before the the time start ticking for when it will expire.

    So here's what I'd do. Retake FAR in the beginning of October, and while you are waiting for your score you can move onto Audit and take the exam in November. You need to play your cards right and try to take at least two exams per testing window (if you are not working), otherwise you'll be waiting 3 months at a time just to take one exam.

    REG = 58 (02-20-13), 75 (05-01-13)
    AUD = 67 (05-29-13), 79 (08-29-13)
    BEC = 83 (07-31-13)
    FAR = 72 (10-29-13), 69 (02-27-14), 73 (04-16-14), 81(08-13-14)

    Study Materials = Becker 2013 + Wiley Online Test Bank

    tncincy- If you are tired of FAR, I would continue to another subject. When I failed audit, I was frustrated and mad at myself. The last thing I wanted to see was more audit material so I studied for BEC. After I took BEC, I went back to audit and started using the ninja method. After I recopied the ninja notes, I re-did all the questions in my Becker set with a fresh approach. Audit wasn't so terrible after I had a break from it and the concepts started to come together.

    The only thing is, don't let FAR haunt you. Study it again with a vengeance and knock that test out.

    Tncincy: I would retake FAR the first of next window. Stick with the hard one until you pass it! Sorry to hear about your FAR score. I currently have nothing nice to say about FAR!

    You would think this is a common sense question, but I feel so dizzy right now that nothing about the cpa exam makes sense.

    @BaxterCPA: it makes sense, OK I admit I might be trying to dodge facing the beast, but I get it.

    Do I need to make new notes like ninja suggests?

    I write fact nuggets in my ninja notes and I am going to keep adding to the notes from last window…I like the fact nugget idea and reading them every nite. I think I will add blank pages in each section and have them re-bound for more note taking.

    I would definitely retake FAR before moving on to next section. The information is still fresh in your mind, just make sure to work on your weak topics and keep up on the ones you've mastered. I like Wiley Test Bank because it provides you with an analysis of where you're at (AND they have a free 24 hour trial). GL!
